Wednesday, 3o June 2021-Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta in collaboration with Komda 3 BMPTTSSI held a symposium covering all fields of Civil and Environmental Engineering aimed at students, academics, researchers, and professionals on a national scale. The national publication platform is expected to be able to provide opportunities for students, academics, researchers, and professionals to be able to compete in showing research results by means of good presentations. This activity is held in collaboration between universities so that it is expected to be a forum for networking and getting to know each other about research developments between universities.
CEEDRiMS 2021 is a continuation of CEEDRiMS 2020 which was previously held at the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) after previously being held twice under different names, namely CEES 2018 at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and CEES 2019 at Semarang State University (Unnes). This year, CEEDRiMS was held again in Surakarta, at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). At the 2021 conference the focus of the discussion raised was technological innovation and renewable materials that are safe and environmentally friendly but still include elements of disaster mitigation. Although UMS has held an annual national seminar, this year’s national seminar is represented in the form of CEEDRiMS 2021.
